We are an initiative of the Center for SDG Global Education USA, Sub Saharan Open University and HRH
Shehu Usman Chindo Yamusa II Foundation. It is the gathering of global youth and deploying the four cardinal
mandates. These mandates are empowerment, exchange, education and entrepreneurship. With these key skills under their belts, they can make global action. Promoting young leadership and helping the young people of today with leadership development skills promotes a better future for everyone. The way we will shows the youth about the mandates is to engage them through a variety of methods. Some of these methods include:

• Campaigns and advocacy
• Youth for youth exchange programs
• Information sharing
• Mentoring and orientation
• Youth role models
• Leadership development
• Strengthen youth identity towards positive direction
• Engaging youth to envision themselves as instruments for global action

Promoting Young Leadership In Today’s Youth

YOUTHGETHER Global pays attention to people between the ages of 15 and 35 as members. Other youth organisations and leaders as partners with us. Then celebrities and philanthropists are recognised as advisors or sponsors to the program. Here is a breakdown of the four cardinal mandates for better understanding:

• Empowerment involves developing their inherent skills
• Exchange programs entails internship opportunities
• Education is the pathway to lifelong learning
• Entrepreneurship is discovering new ways of combining resources and generating market
value in the process.

These skills develop the youth to acquire an integrated world view while strengthening their
inherent leadership to become part of nation building.
